Our Procedures

How to Find Us
- You can easily find us on Waze or Google Maps by searching for: Ruta Verde B&B.
- Address: Calle La Familia, Ruta 107, 300 meters south of the Tambor de Alajuela Cemetery.
- Please contact your host with your approximate arrival time so we can arrange a smooth check-in.
Entering the Property
- The front gate is not open permanently. Please use the intercom located at the side of the gate.
- If you have a code, enter it and wait for the gate to open.
- Don’t worry if you need to stop briefly in front of the gate — this is normal in Costa Rica, and other drivers will wait.
- The gate closes automatically 45 seconds after it has fully opened. Please drive in carefully.
Parking
- Once inside, drive a few meters forward and park on the left-hand side in an exit position.
Your Room
- Every room has a number. Please follow the signs and instructions provided by your host.
Check-out Procedures
- Early check-out (before 8:00 AM): Please notify staff of your intent to leave early via WhatsApp. You will receive instructions for your departure.
- Standard check-out (after 8:00 AM): Please go to the office to drop off your room key and gate opener.
- Late check-out (if available): A $40 fee applies. Please arrange this with staff in advance.
Airport Transfers
- Airport transportation can be requested when you book your room.
- If you request an airport pickup, please look for a driver holding a sign with your name and "Ruta Verde B&B" on it.
- If you have already booked and need to add transportation, please contact us directly.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 15 days before check-in receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 15 days of check-in receive a 50% refund.

Housekeeping Reminders
- Please turn off the lights and AC when not in use or before leaving.
- Place garbage in the bins provided and separate recyclables whenever possible — thank you for helping us stay eco-friendly!
